Every campaign undergoes a rigorous multi-tier verification process before going live. For medical cases, our on-ground verification partners validate NADRA CNIC details, cross-check hospital registration numbers, inspect authentic diagnostic reports, and speak directly with attending physicians. For education and micro-ventures, we verify enrollment vouchers or merchant quotations.
Donations are never disbursed as untracked cash. Funds are wired directly to certified institutional accounts (hospitals, pharmacies, school bursars, equipment vendors) via 1Link or Raast. Upon settlement, donors receive an automated transaction ledger receipt with an immutable verification ID, hospital invoice copy, and timestamped disbursement receipt.
Doneto integrates directly with Pakistan's digital payment rails. You can donate seamlessly in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) via Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast (instant zero-fee settlement), 1Link bank transfer, and any local or international debit/credit card (Visa, Mastercard, PayPak, UnionPay).
Yes. Overseas Pakistanis in the US, UK, UAE, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and worldwide can donate in USD, GBP, EUR, or AED using any international credit or debit card, or directly through their Roshan Digital Account (RDA). Doneto applies zero currency conversion markups.
Yes. Campaigns meeting strict Islamic jurisprudence requirements are certified with an official 'Zakat Eligible' badge. We follow a strict 100% Zakat Policy: exactly 0% is deducted for platform or operational overhead from Zakat donations. Every rupee given as Zakat is disbursed directly to the eligible mustahiq (beneficiary).
Doneto charges a 0% platform fee on all life-saving medical emergencies and disaster relief drives. Our platform engineering, server infrastructure, and verification costs are supported voluntarily through optional donor tips at checkout. Standard third-party banking gateway processing charges (1.5%–2%) apply at actual cost.
Any individual, registered NGO, or caregiver seeking mutual aid within Pakistan can submit a campaign. Required documents include: valid NADRA CNIC of the beneficiary/guardian, stamped medical estimate from an authorized hospital or academic fee bill, proof of residence, and two community references. Our review team reviews submissions within 24 to 48 hours.
Absolutely. While Doneto requires verified sender identity on the payment gateway for regulatory compliance under State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) rules, you can check the 'Keep my donation anonymous' box at checkout. Your name will appear as 'Anonymous' on the public donor stream and campaign leaderboard.
Creating an account on Doneto takes less than a minute:
1. Open the Doneto app or website and select 'Sign Up'.
2. Enter your full name, email address, and mobile number (+92 for Pakistan or your international country code).
3. Verify your phone number using the instant SMS one-time passcode (OTP).
4. Set a secure password to complete registration.
Note: You can always make donations as a guest without creating an account. However, having an account enables you to manage recurring donations, download verified tax and disbursement receipts, and initiate your own mutual-aid campaigns.
You can permanently delete your account directly through the Doneto app at any time.
Steps to delete your account:
1. Open the Doneto app on your device and tap Settings from the menu.
2. In the Account section, tap 'Delete Account' (highlighted in red).
3. Review the warning information and enter your password to confirm your identity.
4. Tap 'Delete Account' and confirm with 'Yes, delete my account'.
What happens when your account is deleted:
• Profile anonymization: Your name, email, phone number, and personal details are permanently removed and replaced with 'Deleted User'.
• Active campaigns: Any campaigns currently raising funds will be paused. Campaigns pending approval will be cancelled and removed.
• Donation history: Past donations remain visible on the public ledger for transparency, but are permanently decoupled from your identity.
• Immediate logout: You will be signed out immediately and cannot log back in with the same credentials.
Conditions that may block deletion: If you have a pending withdrawal request under review, you will not be able to delete your account until it has been processed.
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. If you believe your account was deleted by mistake, contact our support team at privacy@doneto.org.
